MIDDLE EAST GROWS WORSE

Years ago, and I should probably say decades ago, there was a hit song preformed by Barry Mcguire. The name of the song was "Eve Of Destruction". In that song there were these lyrics, "The eastern world it is exploding, violence flarin', bombs exploding". Now, in the early months of 2011 this is exactly what is again happening or just did happen in Egypt, Yemen, Tunisia, Libya and Bahrain.

Two questions that all news media outlets are ignoring are centered on: 1) what in the world is Obama doing and 2) when does it become necessary for there to be international American military intervention?

On the second question, starting in 1941 and continuing today, our national government has been actively involved in the internal operation of countries all over the world. Since World War II, our military has seen open combat action in Vietnam and in Korea and in Afghanistan and in Iraq and in Sudan and in Panama and in Granada. There is no telling how many other nations have had clandestine, violent visits by our armed forces. During this same time the USA has poured hundreds of billions of dollars into foreign countries and now find that we are trillions of dollars in debt and losing ground daily to our biggest, strongest, richest enemy - Communist China. And, we are today hated by the citizens of many countries.

America must remain strong and absolutely prepared to protect itself. However, huge invasions with years of post-combat occupation must come to an end. If another nation blatantly offends the USA then a quick, forceful lesson must be delivered and all our servicemen promptly returned to the safety of their assigned military installations. With God's blessing there will never be another World War and never arise another need to send hundreds of thousand of our military overseas. Americans must accept the fact that we are not the watch-dog of the world and must concentrate primarily on protecting and bettering our nation.

And now, what is Obama doing? He has failed at boosting of our economy. He has failed at reducing the national debt. He has failed at lowering unemployment. However, he has stuck his nose in to the internal operations of Egypt and of Tunisia and of other foreign nations. Over the past 2 years his international reputation has slipped and along with it the world's view of America.

It is time to redirect our efforts away from the rest of the world and toward our own 50 states. Massive non-emergency foreign aid must stop and every nation must be allowed to internally decide what form of government it desires. America has to stop being the ever interfering international neighbor.

It would be nice for all nations to be democracies but in reality that will not happen.
