Two recently released pieces of financial information pertaining to the well being of America only resulted in continuing misgivings as to the economic future of our country. Here are these two worrisome reports.
The financial status of the federal government, as we are all well aware, has reached the limit of its authorized deficit spending. As current unfunded expenses present themselves for payment, Washington has begun to borrow from escrowed funds held in other federal accounts. The current focus of these "borrowings" is various retirement accounts of federal employees. The debt of Washington has surpassed the authorized limit of $14,000,000,000,000.00. That's $14 Trillion. Of this huge deficit, some $4,479,200,000,000.00 ($4.479 Trillion) of it is held by foreign nations. Communist China continues to be America's largest creditor with the most recent calculations showing that our debt to them is at $1,144,900,000,000.00. This figure is right at 25% of our foreign held debt and this fact alone is quite ominous. The three questions that immediately come to mind are: 1) Why has Communist China elected to buy so much of the American government debt?; and 2) How will Communist China utilize this debt against America?; and 3) How can Washington possibly pay back this huge obligation?
Of equal concern is the fact the BRICS group (Brazil, Russia, India, Communist China and South Africa) holds right at $1.6 Trillion of this American foreign debt. There is no question that BRICS would like to replace America's worldwide leadership role and the manipulation of our huge debt could well be a tool to be used by them in this process.
The second piece of bad news pertains to the domestic housing market. This is a continuing problem and a huge cancer on the American economy. Foreclosures are still predominant as evidenced by the fact that recent figures have shown that 28% of all US home sales were on foreclosed property. The Bank of America has disclosed that it has over $200,000,000,000.00 tied up in non-performing home mortgages. The sale price of single family residences continues to fall and many real estate experts have pessimistically foretold of a new, big decline in this area of our economy. Coupled with this bad residential picture is the forecast of a new problem about to emerge which will be centered on a failing commercial property market.
Traditionally our nation has looked to Washington to implement remedies to confront and cure problems impacting the country. We have for the past almost 18 months looked to the Obama Administration to act and to date Obama's efforts can be described in one word - worthless.
As has been stated before, the biggest challenge to Americans is to "weather the storm" until November of 2012 when definitive action at the polls can be taken to retire Obama.

AN OVERSEAS VACATION
And a good time was had by all ... well I really cannot say "by all" but at least a good time is being had by Obama and his entourage as they visit Ireland and the UK and Europe. Back in the 50 States, there are problems. Some of these problems are new and some are several years old, but all of these problems are ignored by our President as he attempts to expand his personal
role as a world leader.
While Obama ate dinner with the Queen of England and "blew" the toast, the American federal government announced that this past week 424,000 new applications for unemployment benefits were filed by US citizens. Just 2 months ago the White House gloated over the news that the weekly number of the newly unemployed had dropped below 400,000 and proclaimed that this number would continue to drop. What has happened is for the past seven (7) weeks the number of Americans losing their jobs and seeking unemployment benefits has been consistently over the 400,000 number.
Mother Nature has also decided to test Obama while he took his break from Washington by unleashing tornadoes across mid-western states and southern states. Even Philadelphia, the epitome of a northeastern metropolis, had a brush with a tornado. The number of killed or injured or severely impacted by these terrible storms is in the hundreds of thousands. The reaction by BHO was to insure his suffering fellow citizens that he would pay them a visit "next Sunday".
What ever happened to the idea that for the President of the United States of America the needs of other Americans always come first? BHO, if he was truly interested in the welfare of the citizens of his country, would have curtailed his overseas trip and returned to Washington to at least give the appearance that the needs of his nation are paramount to him.
The natural and needed response to this lastest example of Obama's self serving conduct needs to be implemented by American voters now by vocal opposition to Obama and then followed up in November of 2012 with a vote that is in the best interest of our nation. That ballot selection must be for the Republican candidate for the White House.

MORE CONCERNS
June 2011 rapidly approaches which means that the next election for President of the United States is less than one year and six months away. There are many concerns facing Americans with none being greater than the wealth of worries that conservative Americans associate with the potential reelection of BHO.
But that Obama reelection fear does not today dominate conservative thought. There are other issues that need immediate concern. Some of these issues are obvious; some of these issues are hypothetical; and some of these issues are real but are lurking in the shadows.
Two of the obvious issues facing America are the on-going terrible unemployment rate and the massive ever increasing debt obligation of our nation. These particular matters are just not getting any better. Washington continues to report that unemployment is at the 9.0% level but we all know that this is a manipulated calculation and that the real unemployment figure is much closer to 16%. As to the national debt, it has exceeded the $14 Trillion mark and grows daily even though there is just no money to allocate to the payment of these obligations. Most recently the Obama Administration "borrowed" money from the funds designated to pay the retirement benefits of retired/retiring federal workers.
Hypothetical problems cover areas like Obama's desire to nationalize all illegal immigrants living, or should I say hiding, in our nation and the ramifications of such an executive act; Obama's desire to end the income tax deduction item of money paid toward home loan interest; and the huge mess presenting itself to Americans in the form of Obama HealthCare.
Other matters truly hide in the shadows but very real. These matters include who will succeed Strauss-Kahn as the head of the IMF; what impact will the almost open sale of US Government Notes by Japan and Communist China have on our nation's well being; and what are the plans of BRICS and how will their actions impact our nation. BRICS is the grouping of five nations who would like to become the dominate force in the world. These nations who have formed some type of alliance are Brazil, Russia, India, Communist China and South Africa and they are now called BRICS.
By all standards, these items are potentially critical and overflow the American plate of worries. And these are only a few of the concerns conservative Americans have pressing on their minds.

Sins Of The News
Most recently one of our mass media news organizations, AP, made a clearly joyous announcement that their White House hero was now receiving a 60% approval rating from the American general public. Of course some of this upward shift in support toward BHO could be directly linked to the recent execution in Pakistan by US Seals but it turns out that the AP was tilting the playing field in a pro-Obama manner.
Dick Morris was quick to perceive that there was a problem with this reported 60% pro-Obama poll result and after some research published the truth. It turns out that of the poll participants, some 35% acknowledged that they were Democrats and only 18% considered themselves a Republican. In the US there are approximately 55,000,000 registered Republicans (33%) and some 72,000,000 registered Democrats (42%). Another 42,000,000 voters are classified as Independents (25%). Unless there were a substantial number of poll participants who chose not to divulge that they were a registered Republican, then it is obvious that a disproportionate number of Democrats participated in this survey.
A more realistic evaluation is that AP wanted to promote Obama and with total disregard to the fundamental tenets that help insure professional and truthful news media efforts, '"stacked the deck" in favor of BHO.
While on the subject of the news media, that enemy of our nation who was eliminate most recently by a bullet to the head, continues to be the focal point of many new reports. When this man was killed I swore to never use his name in another piece of writing. Our national media just can't resist flooding their reports with items which can only extend his memory and promote him to his followers. I don't want to see his gory death pictures or learn about the porn stored in his computer or read his autopsy report or read a translation of his diary. This man's existence needs to be ignored and by that "I know nothing act" made a non-entity in the history of 21st century.

ON BREAK
One of the items I read this morning on my new e-mail listings was a message from The Tea Party.net raising the issue that liberal politicians and liberal media outlets were actively engaged in a campaign to lessen the impact and influence of The Tea Party. The message also, at least twice, asked for a monetary contribution to help oppose these attacks.
There is no question that those members of our nation who are liberal/socialist/progressive in their approach to US national and international policy (in other words they support Obama) are actively engaged in undermining The Tea Party and its efforts. However, the sad truth is that Tea Parties across the nation are already engaged in conduct that is self defeating.
I know several politically savvy individuals who have taken leave of their local Tea Party and are no longer active in their organization. Not a single one of these concerned voters has become an Obama fan or has in any way strayed from conservative thought. The problem has been that their local Tea Party chapter has decided to become involved, on one side or another, of a local issue or local election, including primaries. These decisions could not be championed by all Tea Party members and each such endorsement caused someone in the active ranks to "take a break". Hopefully, each of these conservatives will rejoining the efforts once the focus is again on national and international matters.
By no means is a suggestion being made that Tea Party members should not be involved in local and state political matters. To state otherwise would be a grave error. However, to attract the greatest number of citizens to be involved in the effort to return America to the principles upon which our nation was founded and to restore conservative leadership in Washington and to insure that BHO is a one-term President, Tea Parties should not be thinned by an "official" endorsement in a local election much less a primary. Let Tea Parties provide a forum for all political issues and candidates but remain above the fight with endorsements only on federal offices.
I subscribe to the theory that The Tea Party is a "trickle down" organization. Once the Washington issues have been addressed and conservative leaders placed in federal office, then the focus of Tea Parties can, while remaining primarily national/international in nature, work toward city, county and state matters.
You have probably surmised that I am one of those Tea Party members "on break". That observation is true but not because of any particular endorsement or local position but rather because of the decision to officially endorse candidates in primary elections.
With any luck in 2012 the efforts of all Tea Parties will be on making Obama a one term President and the potential dangers of taking sides, officially, in local matters and in primaries will have been learned and not repeated.

A GOOD NEWS DAY
Our military got him. It took awhile, almost 10 years since the 9/11 attacks, but the figurehead leader, if not the actual leader, of Muslim/Arab terrorism has had the death sentence imposed upon him. Historically, nothing could have been any more appropriately than to have a US Navy Seal shoot him twice, once in the body and once in the head.
As this is being written, the creatures of the ocean are feasting on the remains of the late Osama Bin Laden.
On this same topic, there is no explanation that can be given by Pakistani governmental leaders to justify how this terrorist was able to live, with family members and entourage present, in a $1,000,000.00 home just moments from an official Paki military post. This post was a training facility for new Paki army officers. The proper reaction to Pakistan's most recent transgression is for all of Washington, and particularly BHO, to immediately cease all aid to this obviously anti-America nation. This act would punish the wrong doers and save USA taxpayers billions of dollars.
While we are freezing the funds to Pakistan, Obama should show some real guts and cut all foreign aid to all nations, not just Arab countries, and invest that money in America.
As much as it pains me, good job Obama and good job to all the intelligence units and military units that enabled and consummated the execution of Bin Laden. Now, ending this chapter of US history, never again should that evil name be written or said.
