ANOTHER B.H.O. ERROR

Most recently Dick Morris asked in one of his columns if B. H. Obama, our President, has "the strength to stand up to Muslim extremists?"

Unfortunately the obvious answer has to be a firm NO.

There exists in many Islamic nations an organization known as the Muslim Brotherhood. This group is not only actively against the governing bodies in such nations as Egypt, Qatar and Tunisia but is openly anti-American. We have seen the existing government of Egypt fail; the existing government of Tunisia partially fail; and in Qatar and Yemen and and Bahraincrowds are in the street demanding a more Koran oriented (which means Muslim Brotherhood) government. Saudi Arabia was so concerned with the actions of the Muslim Brotherhood and America's open encouragement of these religious radicals that its King initiated a telephone call to B. H. Obama to chastise the "leader of the free world" and to urge him not to abandon Egypt's Mubarak.

It was too late.

Reports have been published that in just the past 3 weeks B. H. Obama has had some 36 meetings of his government officials to discuss the situation in Egypt. The outcome of these meetings was a clear abandonment of Mubarak and an urging that substantial changes be implemented in one of the oldest cultures on Earth. What we got was a military take over with promises that "free elections" would soon be held. Some mention has been made on holding elections in 6 months and in response the Muslim Brotherhood has already announced that it will have a group of its adherents seek legislative office.

The big question now has to be which organization will control the new Egypt. The only real choices are the military and the radical Muslim Brotherhood. America gains nothing with either result.

This Obama intervention in the internal matters of Egypt can only be described by the expression "it stinks". America has no business getting involved in the operational functions of any foreign nation. Our interest and concern should only be expressed in the event of some provable situation by which America or Americans are placed in jeopardy. In other words, it is time for the USA to withdraw as the international mentor and enforcer. If we are threatened then a quick forceful response is needed with limited, if any, deployment of our military.

We have serious issues at home upon which all our government effort and assets must be applied. That list includes a huge national debt; a new Obama yearly budget that calls for over a trillion dollars of additional debt; unacceptable unemployment levels; millions of citizens on welfare; a pending energy crisis; porous borders and literally 10+ million illegal immigrants already residing in the 50 states. These are the matters that deserve the complete attention of all federal, state and local elected officials.

The Muslim Brotherhood bothers me and it particularly bothers me to recall B. H. Obama bowing to different Arab leaders, the same leaders he is now abandoning.

The bottom line is that Obama is lost, is unreliable and is well over his head trying to be the President of our nation.
