The left wing, Progressive political pundits are at it again. This time the subject matter centers on the announcements by the Obama White House that separate diplomatic talks are going to occur between America and Iran and America and North Korea. Both of these announcements are absolute confirmation that Obama has suffered two more set backs in international affairs.



Since the day he became President, Obama has promoted and urged that Iran was to suffer international sanctions for not terminating its nuclear program. Because of the intercession of Russia's Putin and Venezuela's Chavez, there will be no sanctions but there will be talks. These talks will occur even though the Iranian nuclear program continues unabated. During this same period of time North Korea has scoffed at all the threats may against it by Obama in response to North Korea's nuclear and missile testings. The only concession from North Korea has been that it would engage in bilateral talks with America. This overture was reject by Obama and he instead demanded that the original 6 nation talks be reestablished. The bilateral talks have now been announced.



The liberal, pro-Obama press has described this turn of affairs as America "entering a new and great experiment: practicing diplomacy with a humility almost worthy of the Prince of Peace." Obama is now compared to and having "a humility almost worthy of" Jesus Christ. This wrongful, extreme analogy can serve no valid purpose and attempts to defer the realization that Obama has no idea what he is doing or why he is even in the same competitive arena with Putin, Chavez, Kim Jong-il, Raul Castro, Ahmadinejad and others even more sinister and anti-American. The expression of Teddy Roosevelt to "speak softly but carry a big stick" has been lost to our nation by the actions of Obama who has stood up to no one except 3 seasick Somali pirates.

It is difficult to imagine how much further our nation can sink as we suffer with a terrible economy, with massive amounts of foreign debts and with an internationally perceived incompetent light weight as our leader. Even with such handicaps, America is fundamentally strong and its citizens will tolerate these ever increasing travesties only until 2010 when Congress is returned to leaders who value American traditions of conduct and then only until 2012 when B. H. Obama is retired.
