AN OBAMA TRAIT

A most recent column by a liberal current affairs correspondent included the statement that our President, B. H. Obama, was guilty of showing in his personality the trait of "mendacity". I had to look up the meaning of that term and found myself in absolute agreement with this left leaning writer. Mendacity expresses that the referred to person is untruthful and has a "tendency to lie". That is truly a good description of our President. The article that raised this appraisal of the veracity of B.H.O. was centered on the current situation in Libya. The tone of the article was that American forces should not be "at war" in Libya no matter how restricted their combat role may be defined. The actual facts are that the lives of American military personal are being placed in jeopardy; billions of dollars of tax payers' money are being expended; and the internal turmoil of an independent nation is being aggravated by other nations including the USA. Obama has and continues to mislead the citizens of our nation as to the involvement of our armed forces in Libya with the only positive news being that there have been no American casualties. Personally, I am proud of the efforts of our military but deeply chagrined that our Washington leaders elected to have our service personal become involved in the internal affairs of an independent nation. This is just wrong. Looking at the source of this "mendacity" allegation, there is real hope that the more liberal sections of our population have started to see that their hero, our current President, cannot be trusted. It really makes no difference to Obama if the topic is his birth certificate or the implementation of military action in a foreign nation, he is going to look straight into the camera and lie.
